Who we are?

We are a professional network created in 2019. We defend the principles of interculturality, equality of opportunities, quality, pertinence, integrity, not discrimination, and we try to promote the collaboration between professionals that have finished their studies at German universities, foundations, or organizations.

AEPEA is also a non-profit, social organization that encourages communication and collaboration between Alumni and among German and Ecuadorian communities. AEPEA provides an objective voice that contributes to Exchange and the development of bilateral relationships in cultural and academic components from both countries.

Our mission is to facilitate communication between professional members and strengthen personal and professional ties to create lasting relationships within the organization. It also seeks to promote communication between the AEPEA, the German and Ecuadorian communities. We wish to lay the foundations for collaboration in favor of the members of the network. In addition, we support the positioning of the Alumni as high-level professionals, valuable to Ecuadorian society.

Our vision is to connect Alumni living in Ecuador with members of other similar associations, with Ecuadorian-German cooperation entities, and with the academic and cultural communities in both countries.

Objectives

Our objectives are:

- Promote contact and collaboration between professionals and technicians with studies in Germany and/or former scholarship holders of one or more German organizations, universities, or foundations through a technical exchange, knowledge transfer, and bilateral cooperation between Germany and Ecuador in cultural and scientific spaces.

- Disseminate information about the Ecuadorian-German cooperation programs for partners and alumni and the possibility of participating in them

- Generate leadership through cooperation in favor of the country's development in social, educational, cultural, environmental, and productive areas.
