Seminar for DAAD-scholarship holders and prospective students in Germany with other types of scholarships who wish to get information and orientation before their trip to Germany.

Goals:

To share with new scholarship holders all necessary background information to ensure their experience in Germany. This will facilitate them to go smoothly in their first time living abroad considering differences in language, culture, and other change processes.

To establish participative contact with new scholarship holders (DAAD and other scholarship holders).

To inform the new scholarship holders about Ecuadorian organizations in Germany and Ecuador to encourage their interest in collaborative work between the two countries.

DIES will be a professional course offered for Ecuadorian academics who wish to improve writing competitive international proposals. It will be a great skill to seek funding for basic or applied research projects.
